
In this section, we list all known fellowships or funding available for pediatric surgeons in low- and middle-income countries.
International Guest Scholarship Program: Offers funding to competent young pediatric surgeons (less than 40 years old) from developing countries who have demonstrated strong interests in teaching and research. The scholarships provide the recipients with an opportunity to visit well recognized and established pediatric surgical teaching centers in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa for a two-three month clinical observership. The Foundation will cover travel expenses; the host institution will provide lodging and sustenance. Candidates must have a letter of support from their local pediatric surgical association.

Candidates must have a letter of support from their local paediatric surgical association, and are selected by members of the International Affairs Committee.

Greenwood Traveling Fellowship: Promotes the advancement of paediatric surgery in developing countries by (1) Enabling paediatric surgeons in such overseas countries to spend time in paediatric surgical units in the United Kingdom for periods of 2 to 3 months and (2) Assisting British paediatric surgeons to visit overseas centres to teach and train local surgeons. Candidates must have a letter of support from their local paediatric surgical association, and are selected by members of the International Affairs Committee.
