Entries in this section describe work that is planned in the future, so that interested pediatric surgeons can join trips that are already organized. Entries in this section might also describe work that is needed by pediatric surgeons in low- and middle-income countries, so that potential volunteers can connect with these surgeons to meet their needs.
This program is active in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Ecuador, and Guatamala. The trip is planned for the week over July 4th 2012. There will be an adult surgeon who specializes in hernia repairs. The program is dedicated to high quality and education, so experienced pediatric surgeons are the goal. Logistics are through Hernia Repair for the Underserved.
